  • The Okanagan Valley is served by state-of-the-art communications facilities and high speed networks. Network service of 100Mbps is available throughout the region. You can choose from competing suppliers of fibre optic networks at virtually any desired bandwidth. High speed connectivity is available from cable suppliers, DSL services, or wireless connections from local ISPs.
  • Electricity in the area is provided by Fortis Inc. Upgrades to the existing bulk transmission network in the area will provide additional capacity and world-class systems reliability to the Okanagan region. The upgrades will provide a double circuit 230kV dedicated transmission line north of Okanagan Falls and a single circuit transmission line to the south. Natural Gas needs in the region are met by Terasen Inc.
  • Water Treatment facilities will be upgraded in Okanagan Falls with the construction of a state-of-the-art water treatment facility. The new plant will open the doors to residential and commercial growth in the still emerging region.
